Texas Comptroller Office Brings OfficeMax to State Co-Ops and Agencies
Texas-Based HUB Businesses Collaborate with OfficeMax to Deliver Quality Products and Program Savings; Texas Institute for the Blind and Handicapped Products Featured
NAPERVILLE, Ill., Dec. 7, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- OfficeMax Incorporated (NYSE: OMX), a leader in office products and services, has been awarded State of Texas Contract #615-A1 for general office products, effective on December 1, 2010. This contract allows more than 2,000 Texas state agencies and cooperatives to access OfficeMax's extensive product selection, including environmentally preferable products and Texas-sourced products, with standard next-day-delivery service.

Austin-based Lone Star Supplies and two Houston-based businesses, Today's Business Solutions and Sunrise Delivery, will support OfficeMax purchases to state agencies and cooperatives.
Texas state agencies and cooperatives will enjoy extensive product selection and award-winning service from OfficeMax. OfficeMax will offer products from the Texas Institute for the Blind and Handicapped (TIBH) in addition to the company's range of national and private brand products. OfficeMax will service State of Texas Contract #615-A1 via TxSmartBuy, and direct on the OfficeMax online purchasing website, www.officemaxsolutions.com , beginning December 1, 2010.
