AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas A&M University – Kingsville in partnership with StormCon, is seeking papers for presentation at StormCon 2015, which will take place in Austin, TX, August 2 - 6, 2015. The 2015 conference will feature 7 program tracks, including the recently added new topic areas described below.
Presentations for StormCon 2015 will be 30 minutes each, including a question-and-answer period.
Please carefully read the information below before submitting your abstract. The deadline for submitting abstracts is February 20, 2015.
The call for papers is now open for the following new topic areas only.
- Agricultural industry: stormwater, water quality, water reuse, water conservation, related BMPs, and research topics
- Coastal NPS: rural water, OSSF, wetlands, LID small City BMPs, RESTORE, and research
- Other related topics
The federal Clean Water Act (CWA) does require states to establish water quality standards and total maximum daily loads (TMDLs) that can be used by the states to address agricultural water pollution through regulatory or non-regulatory mechanisms.
