Texas Allied Petroleum Announces Submersible Pumps and Successful Recompletion of Loeher 5
AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas Allied Petroleum announces plans to install a total of four submersible pumps in its Little Laramie and Herrick fields in Wyoming. The installation is expected to be completed in December. They are in the final stages of completing the construction of a large scale surface discharge system in these fields, which will allow for disposal of the increase in fluid production from this latest effort. The entire system, including the pumps, is expected to be in full production by year end and a significant increase in gross production is anticipated.
Texas Allied Petroleum is also pleased to announce the successful recompletion of the Loeher #5 well in Goliad County, Texas. After a number of productive years in the 2800' objective, the decision was made to move up-hole and perforate the 2700' sand. Initial results are very positive. A rate of more than 100 MCF per day with no water production has been sustained within the first few weeks of production. There are additional zones to be tested up-hole at some point in the future, but current results indicate a commercial well has been achieved.
