BILLINGS, Mont., March 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Executive Vice President (EVP) Ron Frank and Area District Vice President (ADVP) Doug McIntier jointly announced today that Terry Schaub has been promoted to marketing company president (MCP) of the new UHC of Montana.

Terry is currently field relief manager (FRM) for U-Haul Company of Inland Northwest. He began his career at U-Haul in 1989 and has held the positions of welder, hitch mechanic, assistant manager, general manager (GM), senior manager and area field manager (AFM). Today, Terry will oversee all operations of the new U-Haul Company of Montana, including truck, trailer and storage rentals.

"Over the years, Terry has proven himself to be a quality leader for U-Haul who constantly leads by example. During the more than 20 years Schaub has worked for U-Haul, he notes that he's had the privilege of working with and learning from many of the U-Haul organization's great leaders. In assuming his role as president, Schaub is most excited to put into action all the great things he has learned over the years, and is looking forward to working with his new team members from both U-Haul Company of Inland Northwest and U-Haul Company of Idaho. Schaub notes that the biggest advantage his new team has is the strength of its people.
The new U-Haul Company of Montana will start out with a group of hard-hitting players who bring both longevity and experience to the table, and Schaub notes that the company also has a strong dealer network that has helped the U-Haul organization serve customers. He is looking forward to coaching and learning from this team, and watching the new company prosper.
Schaub suspects that the geographics of his new marketing company will challenge him; however he is up for it, and plans to achieve success by increasing his dealer network in order to serve customers in existing and new communities throughout his marketing territory. Schaub also plans to utilize of all the basic policies and procedures set to obtain the level of superior customer service necessary to grow the new U-Haul Company of Montana.
