Terry Chuah Joins Korn/Ferry's Global Technology Practice As Senior Client Partner

LOS ANGELES, June 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, today announced that Terry Chuah has been appointed Senior Client Partner in the firm's Global Technology Practice.

Mr. Chuah joins Korn/Ferry from a global executive recruiting firm, where he conducted high-level search assignments in the alternative & renewable energy, industrial technology, manufacturing and high tech sectors. He has also worked extensively in the solar, energy efficiency and bioindustrials market.

In addition to handling a broad range of assignments for global corporations and privately-owned companies, Mr. Chuah has significant experience working with private equity and venture-backed companies. Previously, he founded and ran a successful boutique executive search firm in Melbourne, Australia.

Prior to that, Mr. Chuah spent 12 years at BHP Billiton, Australia's largest industrial resources company, where he rapidly grew the company's steel manufacturing operation in Taiwan. During his time with BHP, Mr. Chuah spent two years in Boston working with Advent International, BHP's venture capital fund manager, where he worked on projects that dealt with advanced materials, environmental, and automation & control technologies.

Mr. Chuah earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
