The Company Adds Five Sales Executives: Lynn Engel, Gary Chambers, Ed Tschan, Bob Albano and David Rahimzadeh
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., Nov. 2, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Terenine(SM) Technology Solutions, a Chattanooga-based company, is strengthening its senior management with the appointment of Lynn Engel as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and opening sales offices in Chicago, IL and Charlotte, NC. Four sales executives have been added to develop new territories and markets. Ed Tschan, Director of Sales, Bob Albano and David Rahimzadeh, Account Managers, will be based in Chicago, IL. Gary Chambers, National Account Manager, will be based in Charlotte, NC.
"Lynn Engel is a well-known and respected industry leader with deep experience in leading companies in startup and expansion mode," said Ron Beaver, President of Terenine. "We're excited to bring on board this team of seasoned sales professionals that are capable of helping customers leverage the value of Terenine's technology offerings."
"I am excited to accept this challenge to take a remarkable and innovative company like Terenine to a broader market," said Ms. Engel. "I'm impressed by the breath of functionality, scalability and reliability of Terenine. The fact that we are one of only thirteen Tier III Design Certified Data Centers in the U.S. speaks volumes about commitment to availability and security for our valued customers."
Lynn Engel joins Terenine from Tuthill Transport Technologies where she was the Group Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Her career spans two decades of business transformation leadership, operational excellence and strategic selling. She is known for her decisive and visionary leadership.
Gary Chambers joins Terenine from Double Coin Tire, where he headed up new product roll outs in major markets. His 18 years of sales leadership includes leading key account management in sales operations ranging from $42 million to $1.3 billion annual sales. He will be focused on serving the Transportation and Manufacturing markets.
Ed Tschan was the National Sales Director for Tuthill Corporation before joining Terenine, where his 2009 Military sales efforts focused on value, differentiation, and long term partnerships. His efforts resulted in strategic relationships with U.S. Government, Military, and OE's, including a six-year pipeline valued at $23MM. He has 21 years' experience in leading national sales teams, and will lead the Midwest sales team, based in Chicago, IL.
David Rahimzadeh, also based in Chicago, joins Terenine from Radiant Logic Inc., where he served as Account Executive, Enterprise Security Software Sales. He has managed large, long-term sales projects involving custom software development, infrastructure, architecture consultation, and business and license negotiation for Fortune 100 companies, both domestic and international.
Bob Albano, based in Chicago, most recently served as the National Accounts Manager for Tuthill Drive Systems before joining Terenine. While at Tuthill he grew strategic accounts by 41% and in his 14-year career has established himself as an expert with consultative selling and building productive customer relationships.
"We are delighted to strengthen our sales and marketing team with such talented and experienced professionals who bring years of regional and national experience to Terenine," said Ms. Engel. "The expansion of the sales team will allow us to reach a broad base of small to midsized companies that can benefit from the sophisticated infrastructure and expertise Terenine offers, but that may be underserved by industry giants."
Terenine's expansion is an example of how virtualization is changing the way business employs technology. Companies can now choose a provider based on business and technology alignment, not geography. Scalability is a critical component in cloud-based service delivery. By utilizing the most current virtualization technology across all components (i.e., servers, storage, networks), Terenine is able to allocate more rapidly while quickly growing or shrinking a customer's infrastructure. Using a utility model, customers also avoid locking into extensive contracts and never pay for unused, unneeded capacity.
