Teradata to Revolutionize Enterprise Business Intelligence at China's Ping An Bank

BEIJING, Feb. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Teradata Corporation (NYSE: TDC) today announced that Ping An Bank, a part of the China Ping An Group integrated financial services conglomerate, selected Teradata to revolutionize its ability to collect, manage, and analyze data. By upgrading its enterprise data warehouse, the bank will deliver real-time intelligence to front-line and strategic decision makers enabling them to swiftly make decisions with greater confidence.

To support this business requirement, the bank also purchased a BAR (backup, archive and restore) solution, which is four times faster than the previous generation.
