- The Celebration of Caring Awards honor employees whose volunteer efforts exemplify a dedication to serve.
- Teradata employees were nominated by their peers for their personal efforts to improve the quality of life for others.
- Through Teradata Cares employees work to improve their communities by donating their time, expertise and money.
- Accomplishments this year include work on behalf of flood relief, refugee support, educational and mentoring programs, environmental campaigns, and community development, among others.

This year's winners, selected from Teradata's 7000 employees worldwide, are:
- 2010 Americas Teradata Cares Employee of the Year – Sheryl Rajbhandari of Cincinnati, Ohio, who in 2010 dedicated nearly 1500 hours to coordinate the efforts of more than 40 volunteers for the Catholic Charities Refugee Resettlement Program to help Bhutanese refugee families settle in America. Rajbhandari and the other volunteers have helped the newcomers access medical services, obtain wedding and drivers licenses, purchase homes and enroll in post-secondary education. She also conducts monthly Bhutanese Women development meetings.
- 2010 EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Teradata Cares Employee of the Year – Muhammad Bilal Anjum of Islamabad, Pakistan was the team leader for the Teradata Cares team working for flood relief in northern Pakistan in 2010. He personally solicited every employee in his office to donate and participate in the flood relief effort, collecting approximately $53,000. He managed many relief activities, conducting requirement analyses for affected areas, assisting with the collection, purchase, packaging and transportation of food and non-food items, and arranging transportation and lodging for the Teradata Cares team that made repeated trips to the flooded region.
- 2010 Asia-Pacific Teradata Cares Employee of the Year – Murugesan Chengalvarayan of Hyderabad, India, volunteered over 600 hours to various projects, including recruiting 15 other Teradata associates to join the Social Services Committee in Hyderabad. As a member of that organization, he has also collected and distributed educational aids, food, clothing, books and toys to underprivileged and homeless students.
- 2010 Teradata Cares Team of the Year – Flood Relief Team, Islamabad – This Teradata team stepped in when the country faced massive flooding in 2010, making eight relief visits to areas – one more than 850 miles away – where extensive flooding had made it impossible for persons to reach the refugee camps. In all, about 3,200 families (12,800 individuals) were given food, medicine and household items.
- 2010 Teradata Cares Office of the Year – Gurgaon, India – The 90 Teradata employees in Gurgaon have dedicated their efforts to address the educational needs of under privileged children in the area. The team has solicited donations from Teradata associates and others in the community to provide more than 1,300 students with school supplies, school uniforms, or winter coats. Additionally, this team has planted nearly 600 trees and conducted campaigns to reduce the use of paper products, water and electricity.
