Teradata EPIC Awards Program Seeks Nominations

SAN DIEGO, May 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Teradata Corporation (NYSE:TDC) today announced that the Teradata EPIC Awards program is open for submissions from both customers and partners.  Now in its fourth year, the awards program recognizes Teradata customers with best-in-class, innovative solutions that provide business insights and create competitive advantage.

The Teradata EPIC Awards include two categories:  one for customers (and their partners, where appropriate) and another for Teradata partners.

The Teradata EPIC Awards categories for customers are:

• Sustainable Business Practices
• Logistics and Inventory Optimization
• Excellence in Business Intelligence and Analytics
• Integrated View of the Business
• Transparency, Compliance and Risk Management
• On the Edge

The categories for partners are:

• Independent Software Vendor Best Business Solution
• Independent Software Vendor Excellence
• System Integrator Innovation
• System Integrator Enterprise Intelligence

Submissions for these categories may be submitted through the website teradataepicawards.com until June 30, 2011.

Teradata will donate $50 to the American Red Cross Japan relief efforts for each submission. The results of the competition will be announced and celebrated on October 3, 2011 during the annual Teradata PARTNERS Users Group Conference in San Diego.
