Teradata Enterprise Intelligence Summit on Data Warehousing Set for Berlin, April 11

BERLIN, March 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Teradata Corporation (NYSE: TDC), the global leader in enterprise data warehousing, announced today that the 15th edition of the EMEA Teradata Universe Conference, this year's Enterprise Intelligence Summit, will be held in Berlin April 11-14. The international event will showcase the power of data warehousing and enterprise analytics to increase business visibility, agility and velocity – today and in the future. Sessions will show how companies use analytical business intelligence to find and act on economic opportunities.

Teradata customers from across industries will lead sessions, including Banque Populaire, Carrefour, DHL Express, eBay, Lufthansa, METRO group, Nokia, and O2. Hermann Wimmer, Teradata president Europe, Middle East and Africa and Mike Koehler, Teradata president and chief executive officer will open the event with remarks on the company's position and strategy through 2010. Keynote speakers at the event will include Germany's former Minister for Foreign Affairs Joschka Fischer and business futurist Tom Peters, author of the classics "In Search of Excellence" and "Re-imagine!"

In his keynote speech, Silvester Macho, managing director of MGI METRO Group Information Technology GmbH will discuss new information requirements affecting the retail industry and how to turn this to business advantage.
