Tennenbaum Capital Partners Welcomes Mark Kronfeld As Managing Director
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Tennenbaum Capital Partners, LLC ("TCP"), an alternative investment management firm, is pleased to announce that Mark Kronfeld has joined TCP as a managing director.
"Mark brings significant experience in special situations and distressed investing, with particular expertise in analyzing complex legal and structural investing issues," said Howard Levkowitz, a TCP managing partner. Kronfeld was previously a partner with Plymouth Lane Capital Management, where he was responsible for the firm's distressed and special situations strategy, with a focus on legal, structural and process value-drivers and investor activism. Prior to Plymouth Lane, he was a managing director at BlueMountain Capital and a partner at Owl Creek Asset Management. Prior to his career in finance, Kronfeld practiced law for over ten years as a litigator and bankruptcy lawyer. Kronfeld earned his JD from Boston University School of Law and MBA from New York University. He is currently an adjunct professor at Boston University School of Law, where he teaches a course titled Introduction to Financial Restructuring Practice. He also sits on the board of directors as an independent director of Reorg Research, Inc.
