Temple University Hospital and PASNAP Negotiations Break Off
PHILADELPHIA, April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Negotiations broke off early Monday morning between Temple University Hospital (TUH) and the Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses & Allied Professionals (PASNAP) after sessions on Saturday and an over 18-hour session Sunday into Monday. Talks are expected to resume later Monday morning.
Progress was reported on some issues but the parties remain apart on economics. Temple University Hospital is committed to meet with the union representatives daily and has asked the mediator to schedule negotiations with the parties each and every day.
Temple University Hospital implemented its Last Best and Final offer on March 31, 2010, when PASNAP members walked out on strike. The hospital continues to provide uninterrupted quality care to patients across all clinical services and programs.
