Part of our superior customer experience is helping customers learn how to get the most out of their new device such as the new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone. TELUS Learning Centres are unique to the Canadian market. Found in more than 200 TELUS locations across Canada, Learning Centres are there to provide personalized, one-on-one training sessions to new BlackBerry Z10 customers with a TELUS Learning Specialist.
In addition, after listening to customers, TELUS has eliminated activation fees while dramatically simplifying its entire fee schedule. This builds on a series of improvements made over the past several years where TELUS has also eliminated carrier 911 and system access fees on all its Clear and Simple rate plans, reduced bill shock with Flex Data Plans, Data Notifications and Worry-free Travel, added Caller ID and Voicemail as standard on all TELUS rate plans, simplified device pricing with Anytime Upgrades, and revolutionized mobility contracts by introducing a Device Balance instead of a contract termination fee.
TELUS customers can also get 4G LTE coverage in more places with an expanding network that now covers nearly 70 per cent of the Canadian population. TELUS' 4G LTE coverage provides peak download speeds of up to 75 megabits (Mbps) per second, with an expected average of 12 to 25 Mbps ** and if a TELUS customer travels outside of 4G LTE network coverage areas, they will move seamlessly to the existing 4G HSPA network with no disruption of service.
* BlackBerry customers with unlimited Social, unlimited Email & IM, or unlimited BBM plans migrating to BlackBerry Z10 must choose a new smartphone rate plan to avoid overage charges. **According to manufacturer's rating. Expected average speeds of 12 to 25 Mbps, with compatible devices. |
