TeleHealth Services Names Joel Harris as Vice President of Corporate Development to Accelerate Growth in Healthcare
RALEIGH, N.C., Jan. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- TeleHealth Services, a leading provider of integrated communication and interactive education solutions for the healthcare market, has named Joel Harris to the position of Vice President of Corporate Development. Mr. Harris will be responsible for driving TeleHealth's growth and acquisitions in the company's healthcare information technology businesses.

Mr. Harris most recently served as Sr. Director, Bio-Device Engineering & Manufacturing for Pfizer, Inc. From 2000 to 2008, Mr. Harris served as TeleHealth's Vice President of Operations where he was responsible for installation and service of all TeleHealth service lines along with the development, production and support of TeleHealth's proprietary interactive education products. During this period, Mr. Harris was also responsible for corporate development for TeleHealth. Before joining the TeleHealth organization in 2000, Mr. Harris was a management consultant with Ernst & Young LLP specializing in post-merger integration, transportation and high technology.

Mr. Harris is a veteran of the US Marine Corps, and he holds a B.S.C.E. from The Ohio State University and a Masters of Business Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill.
