Telcordia Responds to FCC Local Number Portability Administration Procurement Request for Information

PISCATAWAY, N.J., Nov. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Telcordia, a global leader in the development of mobile, broadband and enterprise communications software and services, has submitted its response to a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the North American Portability Management LLC, the North American Numbering Council and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The RFI is part of the first competitive, multi-vendor Local Number Portability Administrator (LNPA) procurement process since 1997. Telcordia's response provides for new, innovative approaches to management of Number Portability Administration Center (NPAC) services that would reduce costs for consumers and wireless carriers.
