Telcordia Hosts Strategic Review of its Applied Research Initiatives

Two-Day Event Enables Customers & Industry Thought Leaders to Provide Valuable Feedback on Company's Research Programs

PISCATAWAY, N.J., July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Telcordia, a global leader in the development of mobile, broadband and enterprise software and services, today announced that it will host its annual Telcordia Applied Research Strategic Research Program Mid-Year Review on July 28 and 29 at the organization's corporate headquarters in Piscataway, N.J. The two-day review enables customers, collaborators and other key industry influencers to provide valuable feedback on the company's Applied Research programs, as well as broader perspectives on the state of technology and the industry at large.

The review will cover numerous focus areas of growth in the communications industry, including cyber security, cloud computing, mobile network technologies, telematics and navigation.

In addition, three distinguished keynote presenters will address pacing industry topics:

Dr. Lisa Porter, Director of The Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity, will present an overview of her agency and its importance in national intelligence and security.
Dr. David Whelan, Vice President Strategic Innovation, Phantom Works & Chief Scientist, Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) will present "XiGPS, A Precision Nav-Com System."
Dr. Mung Chiang, Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering, Princeton University, will present "Optimization in Networking."
