Telcordia Addresses Challenges for 'Next Decade of Military Communications' at MILCOM

• Military Applications on Commercial Smartphones, a military situational awareness application that uses multicast network protocols on a commercial smartphone over wireless and WiFi networks
• A Cognitive Network Design (C-NEDAT) tool helps design mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) to meet performance goals for survivability, delay and network lifetimes; assess the performance of a design; and analyze performance of cognitive algorithms that help maintain network connectivity and robustness.
• Enabling communications interoperability to help strengthen security protocols is an overview of other situational awareness tools, including the Telcordia® Standards Knowledgebase, Telcordia® Common Language® Information Services, Telcordia General Requirements (GR) documentation, and the Telcordia GPS Services Pack.
