Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Weekly Review: 21-25 December 2014
Trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) during the fourth week of December ended down in all leading share indices; The largest declines this week were in oil and gas shares of 9%

TA-25
The TA-25 index decreased 1.2% over the week, bringing year-to-date increase to 10.2%
TA-100
The TA-100 index decreased 1.4% over the week, bringing year-to-date increase to 7.1%
TA-Oil & Gas
The TA- Oil & Gas index decreased 8.6% over the week, bringing year-to-date decrease to 14.6%
ETN Offerings
This week a new compound ETN was issued on a combination of US share indices.
Currently there are 591 ETNs traded on the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange, of which 110 compound ETNs.
Government Bonds
The Ministry of Finance (MoF) did not make any public bond offering listed on the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange this week. Since the beginning of 2014 the MoF raised US $14.5 billion in bond offerings on the TASE, after raising US $18.2 billion for the whole of 2013
Unemployment
The Central Bureau of Statistics released figures indicating that the unemployment rate decreased in November to 5.6%, compared with 5.7% in the previous month, and an average of 6.3% for 2013.
Composite State-of-the-Economy Index
The Bank of Israel released figures indicating that the Composite State of-the-Economy Index rose 0.1% in November.
The rate of growth of the index in the last four months is at a slightly higher level than the rate for March-July, but is relatively lower than last year.
