Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Weekly Review: 2-6 November 2014
Trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) during the first week of November was ended up for most of the leading share indices; TASE launches the "Tel Bond-Floating" bond index

TA-25
The TA-25 index increased 1.9% over the week, bringing year-to-date increase to 9.2%

TA-100
The TA-100 index increased 1.5% over the week, bringing year-to-date increase to 7.3%
TA-Com
The TA-Com index increased 1.3% over the week, bringing year-to-date increase to 10.0%.
TA MidCap-50
The TA-Banks index decreased 1.5% over the week, bringing year-to-date decrease to 10.3%
Share Offering
This week there were two public offerings in the share market amounting to US $1.7 million.
Since the beginning of 2014 the business sector raised US $1.9 billion through share offerings on the TASE, compared with US $1.7 billion raised for the whole of 2013.
ETN Offerings
This week one new compound ETN was issued on a combination of US share indices, joining the 71 new ETNs issued since the beginning of the year.
Currently there are 591 ETNs traded on the TASE, of which 108 are compound notes.
Government Bonds
The Ministry of Finance (MoF) made a public bond offering listed on the TASE amounting to US $0.2 billion.
Since the beginning of the year the MoF raised US $13.1 billion in bond offerings on the TASE, after raising US $18.2 billion for the whole of 2013.
TASE Launches New Index: Tel Bond-Floating
On November 2, the TASE launched the "Tel Bond-Floating" index. The index comprises unlinked floating interest rate corporate bonds. The index includes 17 bond series with a total capitalization of US $3.6 billion.
Unemployment
The Central Bureau of Statistics released figures indicating that the unemployment rate increased in September to 6.2%, compared with 6.4% in the previous month and an average of 6.3% for 2013. In addition, the unemployment rate increased to 6.4% in the third quarter of 2014 compared with 6.1% for the second quarter of the year.
