TA-25 index
The TA-25 index decreased over the last week 0.1% and increased 3.6% since the beginning of the year, after an increase of 10.2% for the whole of 2014.
TA-100 index
The TA-100 index decreased over the last week 0.3% and increased 1.5% since the beginning of the year, after an increase of 6.7% for the whole of 2014.
TA-Biomed
The TA-Biomed index increased this week by 4.1%. Since the beginning of the year the index decreased by 24.2%, after a decrease of 34% in 2014.
Share Offerings
This week there were two offerings to the public amounting to US$ 10 million. Most of the amount, US$ 7.5 million, was raised by the real-estate company "Dimri".
Since the beginning of the year, the business sector has raised US$ 1.2 billion through shares on the TASE.
Government Bonds
The Ministry of Finance (MoF) made a bond offering this week listed on the TASE, amounting to US$ 0.2 billion.
Since the beginning of the year, the MoF raised a total of US$ 10 billion in bond offerings on the TASE.
Semi-annual Update of the Israeli High-Tech Companies Index - TA-BIGITech
BlueStar Global Investors announced the semi-annual constituent update of the TA-BIGITech Index, which includes Israeli high tech companies or those connected with Israel that are traded on the TASE and/or overseas.
Following the update made on December 21, 2015, the Index comprises 71 companies with a market cap totaling US$ 76 billion. 39 are companies traded only overseas (US, London and Singapore), 27 are dual-listed companies, and 5 companies are traded only on the TASE.
7 companies were added to the index in the semi-annual update: the shares of Hilan and Maytronics that are traded only on the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange, the dual-listed company Cyren and the companies traded only in the US: Chiasma, Radcom, Mediwound and Endochoice.
One company was removed from the Index – MacroCure – that is traded only in the US.
Composite State-of-the-Economy Index
The Bank of Israel released figures indicating that the Composite State-of-the Economy Index rose 0.2% in November 2015, similar to its recent rate of growth in the last months.
