Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Trading Summary: December 13-17, 2015
TEL AVIV, Israel, December 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
Trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange in the third trading week of December was marked by declines in prices in most leading share indices; "SodaStream" made a dual listing on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange;
Huge volume in shares ahead of the semi-annual update of the indices;
The shares of the pharmaceutical giant "Mylan", which are traded on both the TASE and on the NASDAQ, were included in the TA-25 index;
Further offerings in shares and bond markets
TA-25 index
The TA-25 index decreased over the last week 0.9% and increased 3.7% since the beginning of the year, after an increase of 10.2% for the whole of 2014.

TA-100 index
The TA-100 index decreased over the last week 0.7% and increased 1.7% since the beginning of the year, after an increase of 6.7% for the whole of 2014.
TA-Technology
The TA-Technology index increased this week by 1.7%. Since the beginning of the year the index increased by 8.9%, after an increase of 0.9% in 2014.
CPI Index
Figures released by the Central Bureau of Statistics indicate that the Consumer Price Index decreased by 0.4% in November, and has fallen by 0.9% since the beginning of the year, after decreasing by 0.2% for the whole of 2014.
Share Offerings
This week there were two offerings to the public amounting to US$ 40 million. Most of the amount, US$ 39 million, was raised by the "Hadera Paper" company.
Since the beginning of the year, the business sector has raised US$ 1.2 billion through shares on the TASE.
Corporate Bonds
This week there was one bond offering to the public on the TASE by "Gold Bond" amounting to US$ 26 million.
Since the beginning of the year, the business sector raised US$ 14.5 billion through bonds on the TASE.
Government Bonds
The Ministry of Finance (MoF) made a bond offering this week listed on the TASE, amounting to US$ 0.2 billion.
Since the beginning of the year, the MoF raised a total of US$ 9.8 billion in bond offerings on the TASE.
Dual Listing - "SodaStream"
SodaStream - which is engaged in manufacturing and distribution of household sparkling water systems, whose shares are traded on the NASDAQ (symbol: SODA), made a dual listing and began to be traded on the TASE on December 15.
The company's shares will be included in the TA-100 and TA-75 indices at the beginning of January 2016, under the "fast track" arrangement.
Currently there are 59 dual-listed companies traded on the TASE and in the US or in Europe.
Huge trading volume in shares
On Monday this week, ahead of the semi-annual update of the indices, the trading volume in shares on the TASE amounted to US$ 1.4 billion-the highest since May 2010.
Change in Composition of Indices - Shares of "Mylan" included in TA-25 index
The shares of the Dutch pharmaceutical giant "Mylan" were included in the TA-25 index on the date of the semi-annual update of the index on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, with its weighting in the index limited to 4%.
Following the said update, there are 26 shares in the index.
