NEWARK, Calif., March 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Tegile Systems, the leading provider of flash-driven storage arrays for databases, virtualized server and virtual desktop environments, today announced that it has started operations in the Benelux. To support this growth the company has appointed Just Gonggrijp as Regional Director Benelux to build the business in the region. The company is 100 percent dedicated to the channel, selling exclusively through qualified resellers and Gonggrijp's first major priority is to identify and sign a number of suitable partners to help companies in the Benelux to profit from Tegile's range of storage solutions.
Gonggrijp is an industry veteran with more than 28 years of experience in building IT brands. He joins Tegile from Commvault, where he held the position of Country Manager, Benelux. "I am excited about the opportunity to work with Tegile Systems," said Gonggrijp. "Tegile is a company with one of the most advanced technologies in the industry and is at the cutting edge of the flash and hybrid storage revolution providing support for all major protocols and standards. With its dedication to the channel, Tegile has a great natural fit with the Benelux market and I am looking forward to building the Tegile team and partner network in the region."
Tegile's intelligent flash storage arrays are purpose-built to deliver optimized storage performance for various application workloads, making them an excellent fit for mission-critical virtualized environments. The company's patented IntelliFlash™ architecture with inline deduplication and compression enables IT departments to balance high performance, capacity and features with game-changing storage economics.
IntelliFlash easily integrates into diverse enterprise IT environments by supporting SAN and NAS deployments from the same array with Fibre Channel and iSCSI block-level protocols, as well as NFS and CIFS file-level protocols. Tegile provides high-performance, low-latency storage to the hypervisor while allowing users to simultaneously share files via NFS. Unlike other array vendors that at best only provide compression, Tegile's data optimization also provides inline data reduction to further reduce acquisition and operational costs critical in virtual environments.
"As the Netherlands is very advanced in the data center virtualization space we are expanding our presence in the region, and we are very happy to have Just on board," said Paul Silver, Vice President, EMEA at Tegile Systems. "With his inherent understanding of our technology and the local market, as well as his excellent network within the IT sales channel, he will be a great asset to the team. With Just on the ground we will be able to continue delivering unparalleled performance benefits to our customers in the region."
