CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Sunday, September 14, Family Research Council (FRC) and Vision America will co-host a nationwide, live simulcast event at the First Baptist Church of Charlotte. Called "Star Spangled Sunday," the simulcast will celebrate the 200th anniversary of The Star Spangled Banner. FRC President Tony Perkins will serve as host for the simulcast which will also feature Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and former Governor Mike Huckabee and video messages from Hobby Lobby President Steve Green, and Anthony Hahn, President and CEO of Conestoga Wood.

Prior to the simulcast, FRC President Tony Perkins, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Dr. Mark Harris will hold a 4:30 p.m. ET news conference to offer a pre-view of the simulcast.
