TechSoup Global Mourns the Death of Staff Member Anne Musyoki

SAN FRANCISCO, March 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- It is with great sadness that TechSoup confirms that Anne Musyoki, TechSoup Global's Regional Lead for Africa, was killed in the crash of the Ethiopian Airlines flight from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to Nairobi Sunday. Ms. Musyoki was returning home from an event hosted by TechSoup Italy.

Rebecca Masisak, CEO of TechSoup and Lynn Van Housen, EVP TechSoup Global Network, issued the following statement: "Anne was a tireless advocate for our mission. She was on the front line supporting our African network partners and representing our work across the continent as our regional/international lead. Immensely proud of her country Kenya, she believed in the potential that she saw for strengthening the technology infrastructure and skills of civil society across the African continent. 

"We will always also remember Anne for the beautiful person she was and for her commitment to civil society. She combined an easy going manner and an inner strength that kept her driving for more impact. We will now strive to continue the great work she has been leading.

Our condolences also go out to the loved ones of the other passengers and crew who lost their lives in this tragedy."
