Analyst Update: New Allies, Earnings Results, New Product Deals, Recognition, and Advanced Technical Offerings

Global equities dipped on Thursday as investor enthusiasm was dampened by a pullback in oil prices related to rising inventories, while the dollar rose as economic data drove expectations that the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates. In the U.S., consumer prices fell in the 12 months through January, the first such decline since 2009 as gasoline prices continued to tumble. The S&P 500 ended down 0.15% to 2110.74, Dow was down 0.06% to 18214.42, while Nasdaq was a bright spot in U.S. equities, rising 0.42% to 4987.89 on news of a technology deal. The pan-European Euro Stoxx 600 Index closed up 0.9% higher as investors reacted to a raft of corporate earnings and fresh economic data. The latest GDP data from Spain and UK confirmed a year on year growth of 2% and 2.7%, respectively in the last quarter. The German unemployment rate also stayed at a record low in February. In Asia, Japanese shares outperformed the region by reaching a new multiyear high, but the rest of Asia traded mixed on Thursday.
Aruba Networks, Inc. (Aruba Networks) reported its Q2 FY 2015 financial results with record revenue of $212.9 Million, a growth of 20.7% YoY. The Company posted a net income of $5.7 million or $0.05 per diluted share for the quarter ended January 31, 2015, compared with a net loss of $10.7 million or $0.07 per diluted share in Q2 FY 2014.
Astro-Med, Inc. (Astro-Med) reported that it has reached a deal with Donghai Airlines, in China, to provide Astro-Med Ruggedized flight deck printers for their fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft. The deal further establishes its presence in Asia.
FireEye, Inc. (FireEye) reported that it ranks at the top of the Cybersecurity 500 companies to watch in 2015. The Cybersecurity 500 is a directory built by Cybersecurity Ventures, containing the hottest and most innovative cybersecurity companies the industry look forward to in 2015.
Fortinet, Inc. (Fortinet) reported that Barracuda, ReversingLabs, Telefónica and Zscaler have joined Cyber Threat Alliance as contributing members. The Cyber Threat Alliance was established by Fortinet, McAfee Labs, Palo Alto Networks and Symantec as its the co-founders, and is driven to provide more actionable threat intelligence from contributing members, including information on zero-day vulnerabilities, botnet command and control (C&C) server information, mobile threats, and indicators of compromise (IoCs) related to advanced persistent threats (APTs), as well as the commonly-shared malware samples.
Identiv, Inc. (Identiv) reported that the Company's uTrust TS Government Readers for premises access are now included on the U.S. government's FICAM Approved Products List (APL). The uTrust TS Government Reader is specifically designed for U.S. government customers to support any existing building access system and provide a forward path to FICAM compliance.
