Shares in The Coca-Cola Company rose sharply on Friday, paring some of its losses from its previous trading sessions. The company's shares traded between $39.30 and $39.97 before finishing the day 1.61% higher at $39.76. PepsiCo Inc.'s shares hit an intraday high of $80.42 before finishing the day at $80.13, up 1.55%. The company registered a trading volume of 9.42 million shares which is well above the daily average volume of 5.05 million. However, despite the sharp rise on Friday, PepsiCo's shares have fallen 2.96% in the last three trading sessions. The stock is currently trading near its 52-week high of $84.78. Shares in Monster Beverage Corp. ended slightly higher on Friday, reversing some of the losses from previous trading sessions. The company's shares traded between $54.59 and $56.87 before ending the day 0.32% higher at $56.22. A total of 2.96 million shares were traded which is above the daily average volume of 2.02 million. Monster Beverage's shares are now down more than 5.70% in the last three trading sessions. Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc.'s stock posted modest gains on Friday. The company's share price fluctuated between $45.08 and $45.73 before finishing the day 0.35% higher at $45.54.
