TechAssure University Launches With Broad Array of Educational Resources to Support Increasingly Complex Risk Management Needs of Technology Industry

AUSTIN, Texas, April 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- TechAssure Association and OneBeacon Technology Insurance, a member of OneBeacon Insurance Group, launched TechAssure University to meet the growing needs for corporate training-related services in an increasingly complex insurance, risk management and regulatory environment.

TechAssure University will provide a broad range of customized courses, webinars, private classes and seminars. The topics range from basic commercial insurance and risk management topics, to specialized areas of knowledge including cyberliability, technology errors and omissions, and director's and officer's liability. The program also offers three education tracks:

• brokerage sales and service
• specific technical knowledge
• serving the personal lines needs of high-net-worth executives

OneBeacon Technology Insurance is a lead sponsor of this new online resource and will be providing content developed by its staff of technology insurance experts.

TechAssure University is open to the members of TechAssure Association. The association membership will open up an affiliate membership in the fall aimed at a small group of college and MBA graduates and technology transfer professionals in major universities.
