WASHINGTON, Sept. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The TechAmerica Foundation today announced the keynoter line-up for its 50th annual Vision Federal Market Forecast Conference. The conference takes place October 28-29 at the Fairview Park Marriott, Falls Church, Va.

Keynote speakers include Frank Kendall, under secretary, U.S. Defense for acquisition, technology & logistics; Mike McCord, under secretary and chief financial officer, U.S. Defense; Stan Collender, national director, financial communications, Qorvis MSLGROUP; and John Streufert, director, federal network resilience, U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Under Secretary of Defense Frank Kendall is responsible for acquisition; research and engineering; developmental testing; contract administration; logistics and materiel readiness; installations and environment; operational energy; chemical, biological and nuclear weapons; the acquisition workforce; and the defense industrial base. He is the leader of the Department of Defense's efforts to increase the department's buying power and to improve the performance of the defense acquisition enterprise.
Under Secretary of Defense Mike McCord serves as the principal advisor to Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel on all budgetary and financial matters, including the development and execution of the department's annual budget of more than $500 billion.
Stan Collender at Qorvis MSLGROUP is one of the foremost experts on the federal budget, federal spending and revenues, the national debt and the congressional budget process.
