LEESBURG, Va., April 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- If you're tech savvy and like working outside, Verizon is hiring summer field techs in Maryland and Virginia. This is a unique work opportunity that will provide valuable training and a great addition to any resume.
Fios summer field techs will learn all aspects of how to install Fios in customers' homes, from pole climbing to home installation. They'll receive hands on training at Verizon's training center in Leesburg, Va., including defensive driving certification that can be used to lower car insurance premiums in some cases.
And it's good training too – Verizon is in Training Magazine's Hall of Fame as one of the best companies for employee training in the U.S.
They'll also get hands on experience in the field interacting directly with customers in their homes and making a real impact in their communities keeping millions of Maryland and Virginia customers connected.
