TecFace Branded Phone 'Jungle' Passes U.S. Military Shock Standard
BEIJING, April 11, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- China TechFaith Wireless Communication Technology Limited (NASDAQ: CNTF) ("TechFaith" or the "Company") today announced that its "Jungle" outdoor 3.5G rugged outdoor mobile phone passed both the IP67 and the U.S. military MIL- STD 810G shock standard.
Achieving the IP67 standard test certifies that TecFace's rugged Jungle mobile phone is able to remain under water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, provide strong resistance to dust and withstand a standard drop test from 2 meters high. To pass the U.S. military MIL-STD 810G shock test, TecFace's rugged Jungle mobile phone further proved its high standard for strong resistance to shock.
One of TecFace's exciting branded phones targeting the demands of a specific niche market, the rugged Jungle brand mobile phone is one of the most durable phones on the market today, capable of being fully submersed in water and still working flawlessly. The phone's shock resistance design is capable of withstanding being dropped, as is typical in a rugged outdoor environment.
