TOPEKA, Kan., March 14, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- On Friday, March 15, at 8:30 a.m., Teamsters, a Vice President from First Student and a representative from the Kansas Department of Labor will testify at a hearing in front of the State Senate Commerce Committee. The group will be speaking to the committee about the importance of extending unemployment insurance to drivers employed by school bus contractors by passing SB 38 into law. SB 38 will improve equity, safety and retention in the school bus industry.
