SCHUYLKILL, Pa., July 10, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Penn State University employees, their supporters and representatives of their union, Teamsters Local 8, will hold a news conference at 12:30 p.m. Friday, July 11 at the Penn State Schuylkill campus to announce a tentative contract agreement with the university. The group will also affirm that Local 8 is a powerful voice for workers at Penn State.

The news conference will precede the PSU Board of Trustees meeting, which begins at 1:30 p.m. Following the news conference, the group will attend the Board of Trustees meeting. The news conference will take place in the Patio Area northeast of the Student Community Center at the campus, located at 200 University Drive, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.
