Since Berkley was first elected to Congress in 1999, she has been committed to creating jobs, protecting retirement and securing more resources for education and transportation for Nevada.
"Shelley Berkley will fight for working families and retirees," said Jim Hoffa, Teamsters General President. "With her strong commitment to creating and keeping good-paying jobs in Nevada, Berkley has assured us that when it comes to selling out American jobs through so-called 'free trade' deals with South Korea, Colombia and Panama, she will oppose them."
With Teamster local unions in Las Vegas and Reno, members will mobilize to get out the vote for Berkley to protect and strengthen working family values in the state.
