TeamHealth Expands West Virginia Presence

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., March 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- TeamHealth Holdings (NYSE: TMH), one of the nation's largest providers of outsourced physician staffing solutions for hospitals, announced a merger with the operations of Salutis Emergency Specialists, PLLC. Based in Martinsburg, W. Va., Salutis Emergency Specialists manages and staffs the hospital emergency department for University Healthcare, Berkeley Medical Center (formerly City Hospital), which provides emergency care for approximately 54,000 patients annually. TeamHealth began providing services for the hospital's emergency department on March 1, 2014.
