TeamHealth Enters into a Joint Marketing Agreement with InQuicker
KNOXVILLE, Tenn., May 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- TeamHealth, one of the largest providers of outsourced physician staffing solutions for hospitals, has entered into a joint marketing agreement with InQuicker, LLC, providers of the nation's first healthcare Online Waiting Room™, which allows patients the ability to skip the waiting room at emergency departments and urgent care centers nationwide. Through this arrangement, TeamHealth and InQuicker will jointly market a uniquely positioned service to provide TeamHealth's current and prospective hospital clients access to InQuicker.com as a means of improving patient satisfaction, optimizing staff efficiency and retaining patients in-network.
As value-based purchasing standards tighten the connection between hospital reimbursement and patient satisfaction, hospitals are looking for solutions to reduce wait times in the emergency department (ED). InQuicker users are subject to the same triage and queuing procedures as other ED visitors, but they can choose to wait at home instead of in the emergency department waiting area. InQuicker users are sent real-time notifications via phone or email with updated projected treatment times. Studies by InQuicker have demonstrated that their product reduces a patient's wait time by an average of 45 minutes.
"Our relationship with InQuicker allows us to provide additional value to our ED clients and the patients that they serve," said David Grinbergs, DO, FACEP, President, TeamHealth Emergency Medicine. "Their innovative product is consistent with our goal to be a comprehensive hospital solutions company, supporting the entire continuum of hospital-based patient care."
"We are proud to partner with TeamHealth as we share a common mission to provide solutions that benefit patients and providers alike," said Michael Brody-Waite, CEO of InQuicker. "Both organizations are 100 percent focused on providing our hospital partners with the resources they need to deliver first-class healthcare consumer experiences. We look forward to working with TeamHealth to help reinvent access to healthcare."
