EY announced the award recipients on June 26 at a gala in Atlanta, Ga., where one winner was selected for each of eight categories. The 2014 award recipients were selected by a panel of independent judges made up of previous award recipients, leading CEOs and other regional business leaders. The EY Southeast region includes Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. As a regional award recipient, Dr. Massingale is eligible for consideration for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year National Program, which will be held in Palm Springs, Calif., in November.
