Teaching Channel Starts Search for Chief Development Officer
Nonprofit org launches nationwide effort for top fundraiser
SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, Teaching Channel (Tch) announces its search for a Chief Development Officer.
This new position will be instrumental in connecting donors with an interest in education on a national, regional or local level with meaningful initiatives focused on helping teachers improve their practice and better serve the needs of their students.

For this position, Tch is looking for a collaborative self-starter who is comfortable working with senior level executives at foundations, corporations and educational institutions. The Chief Development Officer should also have a proven track record of fundraising from a variety of sources along with a familiarity with pre-K through 12 education.
