TE Connectivity Showcases Fiber Innovations at 2015 FTTH Connect

Industry Experts from TE to Present on FTTH Best Practices and Technologies

MINNEAPOLIS, June 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity, today announced its participation at FTTH Connect, the annual Fiber to the Home (FTTH) Council Americas conference, which is being held from June 29 through July 1 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.

In its booth #455, TE, a diamond level sponsor of the event, will showcase new fiber innovations in hardened connectivity, fiber distribution solutions, and a new FTTH architecture that slashes the time and cost required to deploy fiber networks. These innovations enable faster, more efficient FTTH network construction by reducing labor and costs associated with splicing, custom cable assemblies, permitting and materials management. Industry experts from TE will share their insight on FTTH best practices and methodologies in the following conference track sessions:

On June 29 from 9:45-10:30 a.m., TE Product Manager Brian Berdan will present "Considerations for Underground FTTH Architectures," a session which introduces some of the technologies and best practices associated with deploying a successful underground FTTH network.
On June 29 from 12:45-1:30 p.m., TE Business Development Manager Ryan Chappell will present "Changing Deployment Dynamics with Powered Fiber Cable," in which he will discuss the use of powered fiber cable to streamline FTTH deployments.
