TD Charitable Foundation Donates $1.5 Million to United Way

CHERRY HILL, N.J. and PORTLAND, Maine, Nov. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank^®, has donated $1.5 million to United Way to kick off the bank's annual employee giving campaign.

The donation is being distributed to 129 local United Ways from Maine to Florida. In addition, the 2012 TD Employee Giving Campaign will raise funds on behalf of United Way beginning Nov. 14 and continuing through Dec. 7, 2012.

Last year, the TD Charitable Foundation and TD Employee Giving Campaign combined to contribute $3.74 million to United Way.
