TD Charitable Foundation Donates $100,000 to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Irene Recovery Efforts

CHERRY HILL, N.J. and PORTLAND, Maine, Sept. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank®, donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross to assist the victims of Hurricane Irene, which struck the East Coast last weekend.

The TD Charitable Foundation is directing its donation to the American Red Cross to support recovery efforts as well as provide shelter and comfort stations for area residents forced out of their homes.
