Based in Vienna, Va., Monday will be responsible for overseeing and directing lending, retail banking and consumer finance as well as coordinating TD Bank's related business lines, including mortgage lending, real estate finance, insurance, wealth management, private banking, brokerage and related business and consumer services, across Metro D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina.

Monday has 28 years of experience in commercial banking in an extensive, broad range of areas. He joined TD Bank in 2004 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in the bank's Metro D.C. operations, including Market Manager, Senior Lending Officer and Senior Vice President, Middle-Market Banking.

Prior to joining TD Bank, Monday managed the Technology and Government Banking division for SunTrust Bank in Vienna. He began his banking career with NationsBank (formerly Virginia National Bank) in McLean, Va., where he drove growth for more than 11 years.
An Oakton, Va., resident and Metro D.C. native, Monday is active in coaching football in his community. He is a Phi Beta Kappa, Beta Gamma Sigma graduate of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, where he received a B.S. in Business Administration in 1980.
