TD Bank Employees and the TD Charitable Foundation Contribute $1.8 Million to Local Communities Through the United Way

CHERRY HILL, N.J. and PORTLAND, Maine, March 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank®, is pleased to announce that its employees as part of their annual employee designated giving campaign have donated $700,000 to the United Way. Additionally, through the TD Charitable Foundation, TD Bank has made an annual contribution of more than $1 million dollars to more than one hundred local United Way Chapters from Maine to Florida.

TD Bank employees understand the challenges all communities are facing in this economic climate. Nearly 10% more employees participated in this year's campaign.
