TD Artisan Spirits Appoints David Ballew as COO
LAKE BLUFF, Ill., May 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- TD Artisan Spirits is pleased to announce the appointment of David Ballew as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the success of the joint venture recently formed by Terlato Artisan Spirits and Distell USA.
David brings more than 30 years of experience in the beverage industry, most recently as senior vice president of sales for the Diageo Moët Hennessy portfolio at Glazer's Inc., in Dallas, TX. Before joining the distributor side of the business, he started the national off-premise chain sales team at Moet Hennessy USA, where he also ran sales for the Southwest region and Florida. He began his career in wine, working in sales at Gallo, Heublein and Trinchero.

In his new role, David will work alongside Dave Lane, president and COO of Terlato Wines, driving sales, marketing and operations of the TD Artisan Spirits portfolio throughout the country. TD Artisan Spirits currently includes 19 brands from nine countries, and has a marketing and sales team of 21 people.
