TD accepting donations to support relief efforts in the Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan
TORONTO, Nov. 13, 2013 /CNW/ - In addition to TD's recent $100,000 donation to the Red Cross, TD is providing more ways for Canadians to help support recovery efforts in the Philippines.
Canadians can now donate through EasyLine, EasyWeb and at branches across the country until December 13, 2013. Donations will be directed to the Red Cross to help with recovery and rescue efforts in areas impacted by the typhoon.
In addition, all donations made by December 8, 2013 will be matched by the Canadian government, dollar-for-dollar, to provide help through international and Canadian humanitarian organizations.
