The TCI Advisory Board will act as an internal "voice of the customer" while engaging directly with TCI leadership to help shape corporate strategy while ensuring our offerings and capabilities remain aligned with high-priority customer objectives and needs. The launch of our Advisory Board is yet another step toward our achieving the highest state of organizational maturity and operational sophistication. We welcome the following individuals as founding members of the TCI Advisory Board:
Mr. Luke McCormack
Mr. McCormack brings extensive IT and leadership expertise from both the public and private sectors. He recently retired as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where he provided strategic direction, cyber security services, oversight to cross-component information technology efforts and IT Cloud/infrastructure services. Previously, he served as the CIO for DHS Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and held several senior IT management roles within US Customs and Border Protection. He also served as the DOJ Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Information Resources Management/Chief Information Officer.
Major General Brett T. Williams, USAF (Retired)
General Williams is an expert in Cybersecurity and a co-founder of IronNet Cybersecurity, Inc. As the Director of Operations (J3) at U.S. Cyber Command, he led a team of 400 people responsible for the global operations and defense of all DoD networks. Prior to this, he served as Director of Operations (A3O), U.S. Air Force, where he led the largest Air Staff directorate consisting of more than 1,300 Airmen and civilians stationed worldwide. In this role, he developed and justified the operations component of the annual $120B Air Force budget.
Mr. Mark Day
Mr. Day is an award-winning Senior Executive with more than 30 years of experience in leading large, complex organizations within both the public and private sectors. Mr. Day's public-sector experience includes the General Services Administration (GSA), retiring as the deputy assistant commissioner of ITS, where he provided leadership for the largest reseller of IT services and products to the federal government (GSA's Integrated Technology Service of $23B in 2015). Prior to joining GSA, Mr. Day was the CTO of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), CTO of the Environmental Protection Agency, and Acting CIO and Director of the Office of Information Resource Management, EPA. Currently, Mr. Day serves as the VP of Health and Civilian business units for Suntiva, LLC.
Mr. Brian R. Detter
Mr. Detter is an expert in defense acquisition programs and policy, and has a diverse background involving government and business. Previously, he served as deputy assistant secretary of the Navy, managing a portfolio that included expeditionary systems, R&D programs, urgent needs, and logistics and sustainment. He currently serves as executive vice president of Artis, a defense R&D company. He has worked in senior positions in the U.S. Senate and in the House of Representatives. He is a member of the boards of the Virginia Military Institute and the Code of Support Foundation, and is a former member of the Army Science Board.
