TCC's CEO Naomi Whittel Honored in WholeFoods Magazine 'Who's Who of Manufacturers and Suppliers'

BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- WholeFoods Magazine highlights a handful of leaders annually from the Natural Products Industry who are truly innovative and making a difference.  TCC's CEO Naomi Whittel, on behalf of the company, was honored with a "Who's Who of Manufacturers and Suppliers" published in the November issue.  "This is such a win for the entire TCC organization and a great moment of pride for our manufacturing team in Utah," Whittel said. The honor was bestowed on only six manufacturers in the natural products industry.

Whittel founded Reserveage Nutrition in 2009 and the company was acquired by Twinlab Consolidation Corporation (TCC) in October of 2015. A few months later, she was asked to take the reins as CEO of TCC. 

As a bold step to bring greater transparency to the entire industry Whittel set a precedent in August by inviting Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes to the Twinlab manufacturing facility. According to Reyes, they were the first company in the state to host him in this way—with open arms. "Right now with consumer trust being so incredibly low and with our industry having so many issues around a lack of transparency, the attorney general of anyone's state is an extremely important relationship to have," says Whittel, and adds that Attorney General Reyes' visit to the Twinlab plant was "one of the most wonderful days for our organization."

Given the size of Twinlab's platform, Whittel feels that it's her responsibility as the new CEO to help usher in positive growth for the company and the entire industry.
