TCC, the global leader in retail marketing programs, has appointed retail heavyweight Lars Olofsson as Chairman of its Board.
Olofsson - who most recently served as CEO and Executive Chairman at Carrefour from 2009-2012 - has had a long and established career in the retail and CPG space, bringing deep insight of the retail landscape to TCC.
The move is part of a strategy to strengthen TCC, preparing it for further growth as a fully independent and privately owned company. The appointment of Olofsson builds on the arrival of Michael Ioakimides as TCC's CEO in 2012 and Van B. Sapp, President Americas in 2013 after a long career with PepsiCo.
Richard Beattie, TCC's former Chairman, said of the new appointment:

Before joining Carrefour, Olofsson spent 32 years at Nestlé as Global EVP, and served as head of Zone Europe and head of Strategic Business Units. He currently holds non-executive positions at Axel Johnson AB, Axfood AB and Compass/Bata Shoes.
