Amie Miller has joined the agency as Chief Talent Officer
Chris Rowson has joined as Head of Design
NEW YORK, July 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- TBWA\Chiat\Day New York today announced that it has broadened its agency leadership group with two new senior hires: Amie Miller has come onboard as Chief Talent Officer, and Chris Rowson has joined the agency as Head of Design and Group Creative Director.
As Chief Talent Officer, Miller is charged with recruitment and retention of top industry talent, and also with fostering and furthering the creative environment within the agency to ensure that it remains a place where the best people come to do their best work. She comes to TBWA from MDC, where she was SVP, Chief Talent Officer helping MDC Partner agencies around the world to attract and retain key senior and executive talent within all departments over the last six years. Prior to MDC, Miller was VP, Talent Director for CP&B in Miami. Amie began her career in account management, also at CP&B, where she became VP, Account Director on the Virgin Atlantic and Truth anti-smoking businesses.
As Head of Design, Chris Rowson will lead the agency's design team, working to influence and advance design capabilities and maker culture across all clients and projects. The role also marks the third time that Rowson has teamed up with TBWA Global Chief Creative Officer Chris Garbutt, having worked together in both New York and Paris. Prior to TBWA, Rowson was with Ogilvy New York where he was Creative Director and Head of Design. He joined from Ogilvy Paris where he was brought in to build what became a standout design team. His efforts helped the agency bring home Grand Prix, Gold and Silver Lions for clients such as IBM, Scrabble and Perrier. Rowson has also held creative and design posts at several other noteworthy agencies in London.
