TBI Announces the Formation of a Northeast Strategic Partnership

CHICAGO, Feb. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- TBI, the nation's leading technology distributor, announces today that Vice President, Ken Mercer has accepted a position with Mason Technologies Inc.   Relocating to their headquarters in Deer Park, New York, Ken will now serve as Mason's Chief Technology Officer across the global organization. He will lead the effort to deliver premier technology services utilizing the combined strengths of TBI and Mason Technologies.

As Chief Technology Officer at Mason Technologies, Mercer will be responsible for generating sales and improving operations across the entire product suite of Mason Technologies. Mercer will combine structured cabling, video conference engineering, video security and carrier services into a complete product suite for both Mason's business and government clients.

Mercer joined TBI in 2003 as a vendor specialist having previously worked at Qwest Communications, Fujitsu and as Vice President at MBX Systems. Throughout his tenure at TBI, Mercer oversaw various departments including sales, marketing and IT, helping to grow the company from 9 to 160 employees.
