TASC Names Randy Phillips Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Chief Strategy Officer
Phillips to lead TASC's corporate-development initiatives
CHANTILLY, Va., May 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- TASC, Inc. has appointed Randy Phillips to the position of senior vice president of corporate development and chief strategy officer. In this new role, Phillips will lead the development of TASC's corporate strategy, identify and execute acquisitions to extend TASC's core offerings, and contribute to priority growth initiatives.

Phillips joins TASC from CSC, where he was vice president of corporate development and strategy, responsible for mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategic planning and venture investments. During his tenure at CSC, he led 25 transactions with more than $3 billion in revenue in areas such as applications development and testing, cybersecurity, healthcare IT products, intelligence and systems integration. Previously, Phillips was at Alcoa, leading global growth initiatives in the United States, Europe, Africa and Asia. He also worked at TRW Inc. in corporate development, engineering and management roles, and was responsible for TRW's merger into Northrop Grumman.
Phillips earned a B.S. in computer science from Wright State University in Dayton, OH. He completed the Harvard University Program for Senior Executives in national and international security and is a graduate of the Tuck Executive Program from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.
